Set up a free standing outpatient surgical center in coordination with the UK department of Health.Provides ongoing oversight of clinical operations including physician recruitment, quality control, surgical audits.Investigating a novel device to wirelessly measure intraocular pressure through an implanted sensor. This is a collaborative project with Claes Dohlman MD and a German company (Implandata) which manufactures the device. This has led to the implantation by myself of the first intraocular device to measure pressure by telemetry in June of 2011. at the Wellman Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital. 2014-2015: Master's Thesis Supervisor, Jia Xi Dong, Samuel Hulbert and Faisal Bahrani, Boston University Masters in Health Sciences Program. 2015: Invited speaker at the annual Canadian Ophthalmic Society, Montreal.2009-Present: Collaborating with Irene Kochevar Ph.
